Dear Sir (FAO SFA Chief Executive)
Celtic Vs. Rangers – Sunday March 11th 2007
I would like to draw your attention to the highly public racist taunts directed towards Shunsuke Nakamura by a section of the Rangers support on Sunday. The “airplane” taunts (alluding to the atomic wartime bombing of Japan) were captured by the world’s media and I hereby provide a hyperlink to the relevant photo from Getty Images - editorial.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx
I understand that public displays of racism, and also bigotry, are now considered illegal acts in Scotland and that the SFA, as the game’s governing body in Scotland, have a duty to monitor, report and prosecute offending clubs and supporters. I understand that the SFA have similar duty of care under UEFA directives.
In this respect, can I sincerely enquire if the SFA recorded any such public displays of racism and bigotry at Sunday’s Old Firm game and if so if these incidents have now been reported to the Scottish Executive and/or UEFA for action?

Firstly, may I congratulate you on Rangers victory over Celtic on Sunday; I thought Celtic dominated the first half but Rangers shaded the second.
However, whilst writing I would like to draw your attention to the racist taunts directed towards Shunsuke Nakamura by a section of the Rangers support on Sunday. Rangers FC are a great club and have a great support but unfortunately there remains a very vociferous bigoted minority who are continuing to stain the good name of Rangers and Scottish football.
I say this sincerely and genuinely and for the betterment of Scottish football and Scotland in general I would ask you to leave no stone unturned in your attempts to rid your club of this stain.
In doing so, you will do a service not just for the betterment of Rangers FC, but for this country generally.
However, in closing, I would sincerely like to ask if you intend using your club magazine to highlight and to publicly denounce Sunday’s racists and bigoted taunts.

Celtic to sign striker Scott McDonald this summer
Celtic have completed a deal to sign Motherwell striker Scott McDonald this summer, according to his agent.
The 23-year-old Australian international had been hoping to move to Rangers in January, but the deal was never finalised.

His agent told the tabloid press this morning that a deal had now been agreed which would see McDonald fulfilling his Old Firm ambitions by instead joining Celtic in the summer.

Dopo l'1-1 della scorsa settimana fuori casa con il Dundee (stesso risultato dei Gers) i verdi tornano alla vittoria grazie all'1-0 casalingo contro il Motherwell con rete di Riordan e adesso bastano solo 3 punti per la conquista del titolo.
Continua la serie nera degli Hibs sconfitti fuori casa per 1-0 dal Dunfermline fanalino di coda.

benvenuto !
giusto per farvi morire un pò di invidia, vi posso solo dire che Parkhead è sempre suggestivo anche se davanti ci sono undici ragazzi in maglia giallorossa (quella del motherwell per intenderci). Il livello tecnico tattico del match che ha visto vittoriosi i bhoys è stato abbastanza infimo e il match è risultato quite boring, ma il vero incontro si è giocato nei pub ed ha visto trionfare come al solito il cuore dei ragazzi in biancoverde accorsi numerosi (più di 56000) dal Dear Auld Donegal a Country Mayo da Derry a Leeds, per non dimenticare i favolosi eastenders di Glasgow.
La giornata è proseguita poi dal Paradise, con rituale foto insieme a brother Walfrid, fino all'official Store ed al London Road Tavern uno dei classici ritrovi dei tims.
La serata invece è trascorsa nel magnifico East End , affascinante luogo di conflitti e grandi contraddizioni, con inclusa tappa al santuario del Bairds (un autentico ricettacolo di cimeli e memorabilia hoops)

esperienza unica proprio nel cuore nella tana dei ragazzi
Un paio d'ore di autentica follia screaming and shouting rebel songs con episodi poco piacevoli (dipende dai punti di vista :) ) che hanno fatto digrignare i denti a colei che mi ha accompagnato con pazienza nella via crucis del sabato santo bianco verde !

ANCORA! Per la seconda volta di fila siamo campioni di Scozia con 4 giornate di anticipo.

Il titolo arriva dopo la sofferta vittoria per 2-1 a Kilmarnock che ha visto S.Nakamura assoluto protagonista segnando una gran punizione nei minuti finali di recupero.

Sulle colonne del Daily Express, lo statunitense Greg Dalby ha ammesso di aver ricevuto un'offerta dal Siena, che però ha declinato. Il 21enne centrocampista sta effettuando un provino coi Celtic di Glasgow e l'idea di vestire questa maglia lo entusiasma . Celtic are poised to sign teenage striker Mark McAllister from Irish League side Dungannon Swifts.
The clubs are in talks after Parkhead coaches Tommy Burns and Willie McStay watched the 19-year-old in Saturday's Irish Cup final against Linfield.

McAllister failed to score in the 2-2 draw and missed the vital spot-kick as the Swifts lost in a penalty shoot-out. Cardiff City, Norwich City and Leeds United are also linked with the player, who scored 15 goals this season.

Dungannon manager Harry Fay informed McAllister of Celtic's interest after the cup decider at Windsor Park.

"Five clubs were over looking at him in the final and one club definitely wants him," Fay told the Sunday Life.

"Obviously we're delighted for him and are determined to do what is best for him - we'll have a firm offer on the table for him on Monday.

"Mark has been unaware of what has been happening so he has some thinking to do.

"I was determined to keep things under wraps until after the cup final."

McAllister, who has been a sensation in his first season in the Irish League, would welcome a cross-channel move.

"Of course I'd be interested in progressing my career," he said.

"It would be very hard to turn down the chance of a full-time career in either England and Scotland."
