Ieri mi sono collegato via web con RTE1 RADIO per seguire la telecronaca del match Cork-Clare di Hurling.... che emozione ragazzi, sembrava si essere a Thurles.
Ok Vi smebrero' matto ma sono innamorato di quello sport, che ho avuto la fortuna di poter vedere praticato dal vivo piu' volte, durante il mio quasi quadriennale soggiorno nella Repubblica.
Ancora una volta i Campioni non si sono smentiti...mi sa che si va verso la storica tripletta....

Mamma mia , ogni volta che vedo Brian (vedere su peoples republic of Cork la foto in cui riceve una mazzata su un braccio e si spezza la mazza!!!) penso ai nostri calciatori col cerchietto, il gel, le lacrime facili e il tuffo malandrino per cercare un calcio di rigore. Senza parlare poi dle fatto che la gente come Corcoran fa quello che fa per passione o poco piu', i nostri eroi italici invece prendono piu' soldi in un anno di quanto una persona normale possa guadagnare in una vita.

Bravo feen . Hai centrato in pieno la differenza tra le due situazioni sportive. Oltretutto Brian è piuttosto timido, insomma, li vedi questi giocatori non se la tirano per nulla. L'altro giorno mio marito ha incontrato uno del Munster (rugby) in farmacia. Aveva vinto da due giorni la finale a Cardiff. Si è messo tranquillamente a chiaccherare con lui e le farmaciste (che però hanno voluto fargli una foto ). comprava uno sciroppo per la tosse e non ne poteva più di celebrazioni.

The veteran pairing of Brian Corcoran and Clare’s Brian Lohan in the Munster semi final decider has thrown up some new interesting scientific debates about the composition of human muscle.

Physicists and biologists were meeting at UCC this morning to discuss speculation that it is possible for a human being to train so hard that their body muscle actually turns to steel.

Scientists from around the world will watch footage and study photographs like this one that suggest Brian Corcoran has trained so hard that his entire upper body has become impenetrable to all materials – even the toughened stick of ash wielded by Clare full back Brian Lohan.
