Ho visto la top 25 e non posso che brontolare : troppo Bono Vox e troppo poco Shane MacGowan (una sola canzone dei Pogues : ma vaff....)

E poi non vedo gli Undertones e soprattutto Phil Lynott e i Thin Lizzy, cosa che mi fa un pochino male al corazon Okkey, vedo ora che stiamo parlando degli ultimi 25 anni, mannaggia come corre il tempo...

Comunque le assenze importanti sono troppe...

Vabbè, è pur sempre un sondaggio tra ascoltatori di una radio che non trasmette musica eccelsa...

Visto che é una radio commerciale non bisogna tanto stupirsi della classifica, considerato ciò, un pezzo dei Cranberries (old style) potevano pure infilarlo così come "Come on Eileen" dei Dexy's M. Runners , un giusto compromesso fra qualità e hit di successo

La conferma ad un sospetto che ho sempre avuto : i Cranberries (ed in particolare Dolores) stanno antipatici ad un numero veramente alto di irlandesi... sarebbe curioso scoprirne le cause, forse l'origine di Limerick (città detestata dagli altri abitanti dell'Isola) o certi atteggiamenti della cantante...

no, ne hanno scritte due...Salvation (mitica!) è una...tutte le altre sono l'altra

ripeto...ci voglio gli Stiff Little Fingers from Belfast!

il primo album dei Cranberries "Everybody Else Is Doin' it, So Why Can't we?" era secondo me un gioiellino pop, il secondo (il pluridecorato "No need to argue" quello con Zombie , Ode To my Family...) un disco carino, il terzo (quello con Salvation) una delusione.... e il resto é storia attuale
