It was, in statistical terms at least, a great night for Celtic as Roy Keane helped fire the Bhoys to a victory that increases yet further the distance separating them from their faltering title rivals.
Defeat at Pittodrie tonight has, after all, left Rangers back in fourth place, fully 18 points adrift, and with Hearts fortunate to escape from Tannadice with a share of the spoils last night, Hoops fans should really have left tonight’s match without a care in the world.
