I've read the message, but with only five lessons of Italian (15 hours), I don't understand very much. I think the gist of it was whether to use 'Don't be shy' versus 'Don't be afraid'.

I wonder if I'll be able to use that phrase (SEGHE MENTALI)in the oral exam in December. I think not!!
Nothing really interesting in that post Cailìn, if not the mere fact that chap there wrote Italian.
Got a look to that italian slang page... quite interesting! And well no I don't think myself italian slang would be mandatory to that oral exam.
