Exclusive: Celtic keeper Artur Boruc in booze-up on trip home to rest his knee

CELTIC keeper Artur Boruc has been caught whooping it up in Warsaw while he's meant to be resting after knee surgery.
The bleary-eyed goalie snogged a blonde and guzzled lager in a bar in the Polish capital after Gordon Strachan gave him special permission to fly home to recover from the op.
Boruc has already been fined s50,000 by Celtic and suspended from his national team for boozing this season.
Boruc painted the town red after Celtic let him go home to see his family and rest his injured knee.
Instead of putting his feet up, Boruc downed pints of lager, smoked Cuban cigars and got up close and personal with a pretty blonde in a city bar.
The bleary-eyed "Holy Goalie" and his lady friend then headed to a cinema to catch a horror movie called Midnight Meat Train.
But Boruc didn't seem impressed by the plot and it wasn't long before he was asleep.
Boruc's antics will enrage his manager, who has already hit him with the massive fine this season.
An insider told the Record: "As soon as Boruc got off the plane, he was out on the bevvy when he should have been resting up.
"Strachan gave him special leave to go home and rest so he'll be fit for the Cjampions League tie against Aalborg.
"He's not going to be a happy man. There's only so much he can take."
Celtic refused to comment on the behaviour of their s10million-rated keeper.
Boruc, 28, woke up yesterday to find photos of his wekend knees-up plastered all over Poland's biggest tabloid.
