Ho ascoltato di recente l'album di Roisin Murphy già voce dei Moloko una bella miscela di dance fighetta , drum n bass patinato il tutto molto ma molto raffinato...
ecco due note caratteristiche sulla bella Roisin
Roisin grew up in Arklow, but moved to Manchester with her family when she was 12 years old. After moving to Sheffield, she met Marl Brydon at a party in 1994 using the mow infamous line ‘Do you like my tight sweater? See how it fits my body’. She ended up with a litte more than expected when Brydon suggested there was a song in there somewhere. So at the age of 19, they teamed up to form Moloko and produced an album aptly titled Do you Like My Tight Sweater?. The rest is history. For over 10 years Moloko shone on the dance music scene with the release of 4 albums and multiple hit singles. Now the Wicklow lass has decided to go solo and earlier this summer released her first solo album Ruby Blue. She found a producer. Matthew Herbert who has the ability to add bizarre sound effects to a collection of electro-jazz noodlings and cabaret style tunes. Roisin rises to the occasion with vocals that are tender, defiant and often downright sexy. The title track of the album is also featured on Grey’s Anatomy soundtrack, the current medical drama hit on US television.
