Thank you all for having me at the wonderful Trad session last night in the Eternal City.

Many thanks to Alessandro for letting me hog his guitar for a while and retuning it!

Special thanks to the lovely Rosey who sang a beautiful song on the night.

The standard of playing was exceptional, I was very honoured to be there and have the chance to play with you all, you would hold your own in Dublin anytime, meaning you could play with the best of them.

Thank you from the heart, and I look forward to seeing you again on the 5th.

    Vero Grazie Mille

I'd like to thank Anto, Dave and the Shamrock's family for joining us yesterday.
See you on the 5th for the next Dave's performance [SM=x145500]

It's been a pleasure to have you in the session, as like Anto and all her family in the pub. It was great to see them dance!!!!

Hope we'll have more craic on 5th (surely, more chairs) [SM=g27823]

    See ya all there!

    Piero "Voice of an Angel"

Must compliment my friend Piero on his truly fabulous Romanish singing segment, it brought tears to my eyes...

...just like his sunbathing foto on the Mr AltraIrlanda page.

I'll make sure to get that blown up and wave it in the background next time he starts singing in Rome.

We'll have Piero singing at the Irish session in Dame Tavern Dublin when he's here in february.

    See you then

it was real fun singning in the pub the other night, thanks also to mr peroni who helped me overcome my natural selfconciousness about my non exactly pavarottian voice.
i promise i'll rehearse for the next roman singing session and try a different song.
twas great to have yuos in rome come back when you want you've got plenty of places to stay!

Ok ok... I'm not jealous at all if I can have my say! [SM=x145448]
Seriously now well done boys, it seems it was just brilliant in Rome... wasn't it? [SM=g27811] But hey Piero why didn't you delight us with some songs in Montioni or Livorno? It's unfair! [SM=g27828]

It may be good for New York state but it's no damn good for me.
