PopCap Games International is in search of an experienced International Customer Service Technician to join our Dublin, Ireland CS team. The Customer Support Team is focused on providing exceptional customer service, technical and game-play support to PopCap Games customers for its ever increasing product base using various tools and techniques. The successful applicant for this position will handle both general customer inquiries and technical/game play support inquiries from our Us and International customer in the supported languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Respond to customer and affiliate inquiries made through email, online help form, postal mail or fax with occasional telephone support, promptly, professionally and accurately
Troubleshoot and resolve all advanced technical inquiries including but not limited to download, installation, registration, game-play, and other issues with PopCap Games products and website through multiple points of contact
Communicate technical and game-play resolutions to the team and other PopCap Games teams
Maintain a current knowledge of all the mechanics, prices and policies for all PopCap Games products
Monitor and update a database of product information for both internal and external access
Assist in the updating and maintenance of web-based tracking system and internal communication system
Serve as a direct liaison between customers and QA/Testing, Web Development, and the Studio
Report observed trends, critical problems and performance improvement suggestions to management
Required Skills and Abilities:
2+ years customer/technical support experience in a technical support call center or environment
Fluent in English plus two other European languages (French/German/Spanish/Dutch)
Knowledge of both Macintosh and Windows operating systems
Strong internet and email skills, as well as Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to perform tasks quickly, accurately, and professionally
Education Requirements:
High school diploma
