Pedair e Corcaigh avete straragione, Daniel ha chiarissimissime origini irlandesi (delle quali ero a conoscenza pur'io). L'atto di nascita recita: London, 29 April 1957 ... indi per cui lo annovererei tra i figli di Albione per nascita. So che erano in corso gli atti per naturalizzarlo irlandese, comunque... e in effetti è si nato in Inghilterra, ma è già considerato Irlandese da tutti. Ora che mi sorge la curiosità mi vado a informare su quella naturalizzazione. Qualcuno di voi ne sa già qualcosa?

Non saprei, ma comunque vive in Irlanda da tempo immemorabile, in un simpatico castello in Co. Wicklow, se non erro. Comunque il padre è un noto, e ahimé noiosissimo poeta Irlandese.

Cecil Day-Lewis, nativo di Co. Laois... eggià non proprio scorrevolissimo, come autore. Meglio il modo di recitare del figlio, un milione di volte.

gli altri due Beatles mi stavan un po' sulle balle, nonostante l'indiscutibile talento...ma ringo e giorg sono impagabili



per quanto riguarda Billy Bragg...fantastico...tre vinili, qualche cd...tante emozioni, le lacrime quando Lars Fredericksen dei Rancid, al loro concerto, prese da solo in mano la chitarra e dedicò a Joe Strummer "To Have And To Have Not", la bellezza dei due dischi fatti con gli Wilco musicando etsti di Woody Guthrie...

una canzone che adoro è "a pict song", con testo tratto da Rudyard Kipling

se è gallese, non è inglese...non insultiamo i cousins solo perchè vi han scippato il grand slam!

a me di inglesi sta simpatico Jonny Wilkinson, l'apertura della nazionale di rugby...è bravissimo e compie gli anni il mio stesso giorno...poi sopporto poco altro degli inglesi del rugby...se non quasi niente...
