He is to auction off a guitar to benefit Music Rising, a charity the U2 guitarist co-founded to replace musical equipment lost or destroyed in the disaster. The star (45) has used the 1975 Gibson Les Paul throughout his career. "I wanted to give something really significant . . . that I would miss," he said. The guitar could raise €45,000 in the sale, which ends on April 21.
