Celtic to face Larsson
Henrik Larsson will be back at Parkhead in a few weeks after Celtic were drawn in the same Champions League group as the Swede's new club, Barcelona.

The two sides will clash on September 14 with the game being the Celtic legend's first Champions League appearance for the Catalan club.

The Scottish champions will also face six-times European Cup winners AC Milan and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

Celtic have never progressed from the group phase of the competition.

Following the opening group tie with the Spanish giants, Celtic will meet AC Milan in Italy on September 29 and at home on December 7, Shaktar Donetsk away on October 20 and at home on November 2, with the away leg against Barcelona on November 24.

Manager Martin O'Neill hailed the draw as a "tall order", and admitted that his side could not have found itself with a tougher challenge.

He said: "It is great to be in the Champions League, but we couldn't have asked for a much tougher group, that is just our luck really, but let's just enjoy it.

"There were certainly easier groups, if there's such a thing in the Champions League"

"As I saw them coming out, I'd hoped that we might avoid this one."

"Real (Madrid) and (AC) Milan is another tough one, but I think we'd even taken that."

"I said a couple of weeks ago that I'm happy to be in the Champions League and it is always better to be in than out."

However, Celtic will not be fazed by a trip to the Nou Camp after defeating Barca in the Uefa Cup last season.
