Solo una domanda... perchè "ex alcolizzato del cuore" ?
Non mi sembra che il buon vecchio Shane abbia smesso con i vecchi vizi (che nessun ricovero in clinica sembra in grado di curare...) Come se non bastasse, non c'è solo l'alcool...
Per quanto riguarda l'attività artistica, riporto quanto scritto sul suo sito ufficiale, dove si parla di molti prossimi concerti (tour australiano + partecipazione ad un festival ungherese) e di un nuovo album di Shane MacGowan & The Popes entro la fine dell'anno (più un cd "solo" dei Popes con MacGowan ospite in un paio di brani)

Well it would appear that Shane and the Popes are going to be very busy guys over the next few months. First we have all the new tour dates to look forward to, then we have the brand new albums coming up later this year, yes I did say 'albums'. First we are getting the much anticipated follow up to 'Crock of Gold' by Shane and The Popes, then it would appear that The Popes will be bringing out a follow up to their excellent solo debut 'Holloway Boulevard'.
