Smokers can damage your health
ITALY'S new anti-smoking law claimed its first victim yesterday when a pizzeria owner died of a heart attack after a dispute with three inebriated clients who refused to stub out cigarettes.
Police were called to the Su Forru pizza shop in Turin to deal with three unrepentant smokers when Francesco Ghisu (70) collapsed with chest pains. He died later in hospital. He had repeatedly tried to convince them to stop smoking.
Enraged by their refusal to comply with anti-smoking laws introduced last month, Mr Ghisu became agitated and collapsed.
