Details of the Relief Celebrations on the 12th August 2006
This year's Relief of Derry Celebrations follow the same arrangements as last year's events. A brief overview of the day's events is listed below:
- 9,00: General Committee will open
- 9,30: Parent Clubs and bands will parade on the Walls then to St Columb's Cathedral, stopping at the War Memorial
- 10,30: Service of Thanksgiving for the Relief of Derry in St Columb's Cathedral
- 12,00: Crimson Players will perform the Pageant commemorating the Relief of Derry at Carlisle Roundabout
- 12,30: Parade will move off from Craigavon Bridge
- 18.00 (approx): Parent Clubs and bands will parade back to the Memorial Hall
