La polizia in Scozia ha creato un sito web per consentire alla gente di incontrare la loro ultima, e la più carina, recluta mentre impara a fiutare i delinquenti.
Al cucciolo nero, per ora senza nome, è stata data la possibilità di avere il suo diario online mentre si prepara alla sua nuova carriera nella polizia di Tayside, nella Scozia centrale.
I poliziotti hanno detto che il cagnolino, che fa parte di una cucciolata di sette, ha attirato grande interesse fra la popolazione da quando è stato presentato come la nuova arma anti crimine del corpo di polizia.
Il nuovo istruttore del cane, il poliziotto Mike Keenan, ha detto: "I lati positivi di usare i pastori tedeschi sono che in genere sono molto fedeli e gran lavoratori, oltre che intelligenti".

"Monday morning and another busy day in the office for me. I’m getting to know all of the dog section handlers quite well now and Mike is sending regular progress reports back to Brian Thomson, the Kennel Manager, at Lothian and Borders Police. Brian looked after me and my brothers and sisters for the six weeks after we were born.
Mike keeps laughing at me because I like to carry my metal water bowl around with me in the house. Well, it’s thirsty work being a puppy and a boy never knows when he’s going to want his next drink."
