The band is going to release in various European countries the new record, specifically conceived for the International market, "Bella Ciao". The record, co-produced by Mr. Terry Woods (from the Pogues) will contain new versions of classic MCR songs, a few in English, others “converted” to Spanish, plus the recording of a few new songs, which will complete an album devised and offered to the audience abroad. MCR AT EUROSONIC 2008! The band is confirmed for a showcase at the Noorderslag Weekend, the annual platform for the international live music industry in Groningen, the Netherlands, from 10 - 12 January 2008. RAI/Radio 2 supports the showcase on January 10th. Among the other acts confirmed, also from Italy, are The Styles. In total, over 250 European acts perform during the Noorderslag Weekend. Comprising of the EuroSonic and Noorderslag festivals and Noorderslag Seminar, the event has its largest program ever, with radio broadcasts by over 25 European stations to millions of listeners, all celebrating 22 years of staying ahead in rock, pop and dance music in Europe.
