Irish customers will be paying more for their Ikea flatpack furniture than their European counterparts when the Swedish furniture giant opens in Dublin and Belfast in 2007.
"‘Pricing from Dublin to Belfast will be transparent. It will be simply a matter of currency conversion,” she said.
‘‘But if you’re comparing Ireland to markets like Italy and Spain, there will be differences.
‘‘The products will be priced to the market, but the differences won’t be substantial.”
