Development Executive, Science & Technology - RDS Foundation
The Royal Dublin Society’s Science and Technology Programme aims to promote excellence, awareness and achievements through the support of activities which encourage scientific research and scientific heritage to people within these areas and the general public.
We are currently recruiting a Development Executive to develop and implement Events and Activities for the Society in Science and Technology. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive.
Responsibilities will include:
* development of the RDS Science & Technology Foundation Programme
* preparation of operational plans to support the Programme in consultation with the relevant Committee and in line with the allocated budget
* development and promotion of relevant events and activities such as lectures, competitions and awards, seminars
* organisation and presentation of venue facilities to RDS quality standards
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. He/she will possess the ability to interact with the Committee members supported by a strong working knowledge of Science and Technology. Experience in a developmental role would be advantageous.
